Statement on Duchy Trachtenberg's Disclosure

GERMANTOWN, MD-

My heart goes out to Duchy. I know how difficult this decision must have been for her. She's a fighter, and the fight she is in now is obviously the more important one for her and her family. I tried to reach her yesterday by phone to let her know that we are all praying that she makes a full recovery as soon as possible.

Montgomery County Fraternal Order of Police (Lodge 35) Endorses Rob Garagiola for United States Congress, District 6.

Montgomery County, MD: The Montgomery County Fraternal Order of Police (Lodge 35) has endorsed the candidacy of Rob Garagiola, the Democratic Senator, District 15, for the Congressional seat in Maryland's Sixth District. The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Represents some 1180 law enforcement officers and officials in the County, the largest of its kind.

The FOP has been in exsistence in Montgomery County for more than 40 years, and has a history of succesfully fostering communication amoung the county's law enforcement officials.
